As above, something going on? I am getting the database error and can't access the forums. Is it just me or is this a more wide spread problem? Sorry If I am just slow on the uptake, just want to make sure something is not wrong with my internet.

The first beta version of "Vanguard" is now available for download at Filefront:

This modification for M2TW is 28MB in size and requires M2TW to be fully patched.

Vanguard makes two major changes to the 'vanila' campaign. Firstly it encourages the AI to recreate historical army compositions via a completely revamped recruitment system. Secondly it makes major changes to various units to better model the historical interaction of different unit types. For example, in Vanguard mounted troops are more vulnerable to massed foot bowmen.

It seems the forum is hit by something. The database is still there and I am confident all can be recovered. It doesn't seem simple though to locate exactly what is wrong and there's no simple switch I can pull to fix it all. That's not entirely true, but there's no convenient to use forum. What's more, something like this happened a few weeks ago. So, I'll rebuild it all. That's a lot of work and I do not have the time to do it all at once. So, I'll make the basic functionality first. That means, that you'll be able to read, post, poll and PM again, but there's no such thing as a favourite smily list, TV, LDM, integration with this, the WiKi. I'll add that later, time and resources allowing.

I hope we'll be up within a few hours today.

In case you haven't noticed, we've been having some serious technical trouble recently. Please be patient while things get sorted out.

I am not here to blog, I already have my own Blog thank you very much. I am here to discuss Europa Barbarorum I and II, fantastic mod as it is.

Now, as it seems something is wrong and we cannot, should we dedicated EB fans create our own Forum somewhere else? I will give this place a few days to work and then do so.

The link from EB website leads here. Am I in the right place? There were thousands of posts about Europa Barbarorum? Can anybody give me a link to where they are?
