I get a ctd when the second emblem of the free people scrolls by.
All hotfixes installed. Game went fine until this (497 auc).

Known problem?

There are no hotfixes, there's only the 1.5a installer, if you have installed anything else . . .

I had only installed the 1.5a when it occurred...
After that I tried solving it by installing the hotfixes 1.10c.

Again, it worked fine until 497 at end of turn. Some bug?

This is what I used for trying to fix it:
"
HOTFIX 1.10c:

Can be applied to an install of RS that includes the full install of 1.10b, or one that is patched to 1.10b.
Install into your RTW folder as usual....NOT the data folder.

http://files.filefront.com/RS+++Hotf.../fileinfo.html

Fixes and additons:

1. Traits update
2. Fixed inability to build Imperial Palace unless you're playing Rome.
3. Tweaked missle units and cavalry slightly down in effectiveness (very slightly).
4. Increased cost of 1st cohorts so that Roman AI won't build tons of them (hopefully).
5. Adjusted Seleucid's economy settings downwards to level them out a bit.
6. Fixed bug with a couple mercs causing a CTD.
7. Updated the unit_info cards for VE Legio II so both cohorts & 1st cohorts have a blue shield.

FULLY SAVE GAME COMPATIBLE!

EDIT:
Complete removed and reinstalled.
Used the old save. Seemed to work until end of year 497.
Looks like it is related to that end of turn :inquisitive:

Might be useful to know; I discovered what probably caused the ctd(crash to desktop).

I occupied Segesta to let it rebel by leaving it unattended (unrest high and no garrison present).
It rioted for two turns and when the turn came where it should rebel, the game crashed (at the second free people emblem).

I think that this might be the reason because I now put garrisons in Segesta and a governor and managed to avoid rebellion of the city(against my plans though...)
It worked. The game did not crash but was besieged by a free people army which spawned next to it.
:skull:

Can you make something of this Squid? (since you seem to be the developer of this mod...)
:book:

Which faction were you playing and which faction had previously owned Segesta?
Were any buildings damaged at the time of the revolt, and if yes which ones?

I am playing Romani and the Free People owned Segesta. I hope I remember right but a general called Morrix was near Segesta all the time. He besieged it when I decided to stay. Bribed him off so he left without a sword unsheated.

Were any buildings damaged at the time of the revolt, and if yes which ones?

The city walls were damaged indeed. Nothing else.

By the way: the game runs like a charm now. I guess it really was the problem...

Only thing: it's 500 auc and the Imperial Reforms happened. that's a bit early I reckon ;-)

One other question, do you remember if there was a barracks of any level in the settlement or not?

There was but I have to search the screen-prints and hope it shows up in one. I think it was the highest level and I destroyed it on occupying the city.

It was not my plan to stay in Segesta but only to weaken the Free People there. With that, I destroyed everything possible, accept the temple.
