There will be a version 2.3 to complete Armenia and Sicily!
But my question is:
Should there be a version 2.4 with new factions, like Duke of Swabia, Archduchy of Austria, March of Montferrat and Counts of Blois, or not?

Wow, those updates sound promising.

I have a few questions, hope to get answers:

- Did you fix the camp crashes?
- And generally, did you get permission from Caius to take over the mod project, or how is it organised now, i mean the actual mod ownership? (You can also pm me to this point if you want).

I think that you should definitely go ahead and make a version 2.4. It will really add flavor to a mod that's unique on the RTW engine. Also, you might think about making a mod switch version of the game: that would be fantastic.

I've decided not to make a version 2.4, because the map is too small for so muich factions and it also will be very much work!

Before playing delete the map.rwm and the map_hights(not the tga) in
...\Rome - Total War\bi\data\world\maps\campaign\custom\Crusaders AND ...\Saracens

what do you mean by this which area what map height where is it

please conclude more detail

your path is correct, in those two folders you should delete map.rwm and map_heights.hgt!

I've never had this Problem! Please reinstall it, because normally it should work!
P.S.: I think you need patch 1.6

Hm, normally this happens if there is a misteke in one of the data files, but it works at(?) all the others!
Perhaps it's because of the Goldversion!?
I've no idea how to solv it, sorry!
