Is RS compatible with RTW 1.5 Italian version?

I have the italian version of Rome Total War Vanilla with 1.5 patch.
Can you tell me if I can install RS with no problems?
And then, after RS installation, will my game become in english or it will remain in italian language?
Is there a RS language patch?

Never tried it on another language, presumably what would happen is any files where we alter in game text would be changed to the English, any files we don't alter would stay Italian.
