Glad to see the outbreak of love in the forum, apologies if the following has been covered but I can't read all the threads.
I'd like a short statement about what the org's relationship with CA (both ideally and in reality) for everyone to chew over. I understand that this is an independent website with no official links (despite the work on the patches) but there seems to be a lot of anxiety about the overlap between publicizng and promoting MTW. Since this website is actually called total war we obviously have a lot invested in the quality (more even than the success!) of a game which we aren't really able to judge properly yet, and this seems to be one cause of the tensions here. If MTW did somehow turn out to be a miserable failure (through bugs or whatever) would the org stick with the series, become a vehicle for other games, or just subside after a while?
