Hi. I am wondering if this forum (the MTW forum) will choose to change it's whole image and theme with the onset of MTW. "Sword Dojo", along with the rankings of Ashigaru and Kensai, all maintain an STW-based theme. I know that it would be a lot of work, but have you given any thought to renaming it and converting the rankings to a Medieval theme?
It would be fun to rise to Templar or Longbowman. Of course, there might be too many units to use. Perhaps the ranking could be randomly chosen from a bunch of different units at each rank.
Whatever, I was just wondering. :-)

Brillaint! but the problem comes with the release of medieval total war, i think Kuma, tera and the rest will have far too much work on there hands, it will also involve probably re registering and a time when nobody can postr which will make pople angry because eevry1 will be buzzing to post about medieval.

Obviously the .org staff is in no position to change things in that way right now. But you must also remember that the Avatars for STW are colorful renderings, while the MTW unit descriptions might be just black/amber Medieval parchment drawings that might not look good as an avatar. 100 units might be too much to render. I dunno, maybe they made enough renderings already. I wouldnt mind 'Mangonel' status.

Current inside info at ORG:
Tera is currently trying to turn some text into html for the upcoming M:TW. Hopefully he will be finished just for the release. So until then nothing at the ORG will happen unless Kuma has the time for it. But currently we are not worried about updating the ORG style straight away, but more checking if anyone has any brilliant ideas on how to do it.

Facelifts can only be done when there is a large collection of MTW graphics to choose from, and at the moment there isn't much apart from the images used on all different sites of the community...

Thanks for the replies! I like the idea of a medieval facelift. Must reach 'Siege Cannon' level...
What about in the Demo Tera? I haven't looked yet (just about to) but surely there are some things to use? Or atleast can be adapted?

Also there are some little pics of men when you read the english campaign preview/brief at IGN.com or at the .com site.
Those would b pretty cool. But yeah we can't really have a buddhist temple in medieval europe for our image in top left can we!

Why not? Its some of it is pretty close to India and I'm sure there may have been a influence before Islam.

We can wait for MTW for proper icons but we can make some temporary ones now.

No ,I dont know, since I never received the email Tera promised to send in reply to the can I help The Org out, among the offers was the I'll fix up the download section, and I never received a response from you to the 2 emails I sent you (email adress on the front page of the Org) nor did I receive any reply to the application form I filled in on the Org, jobs section.
Guess people who offer their assistence aren't apreciated around here...
