This link takes you to a page which says the DB Editor has been discontinued and instead incorporated in the Pack File Manager. The Pack File Manager page says that the integrated DBE is no longer being maintained, and thus, has been disabled. When you open the PFM anyway and try to open one of the db files, it says you need to get the DBE and gives a link to SourceForge. When you follow the link to SF, it says there's a 404 Error...

I'm trying to read the game data to find out building costs. Can someone update this thread and post a tool that's currently working that will allow me to do that?

How exactly do I use the DBEditor? I extracted it and whatnot, but I can't seem to be able to tweak the stats in the tables. Can someone help me here?

What trouble are you having.

You extracted the program, did you open it? You pull the db's out of the exisiting .pack files, modify the ones you want, create your modded .pack file, then use Mod Manager to put that in the mod area of loading, so it overwrites any differences.

I extracted it and opened it, but how to i pull the db's out of the pack files? I sure that's the problem I'm having.

Did you open the pack file in PFM?

Yeah I opened it after extracting it, saw the tables but couldn't figure out how to configure it to modify any of the tables...
