The 10th anniversary screenshot contest (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=116066) is in urgent need of screenshots. So if you've got a spectacular, beautiful, or dramatic shot, submit it and you may walk away with the prize.

Good luck! ~:thumb:

Last call for submissions

What, no M:TW themed screenshots? There is still a few days to submit, so please send us some of your screenshots. And remember that you allowed one submission per category.

I've submitted one now lads, so if you don't want me to walk away with the prize uncontested you need to pull something together!

May the best camel win!

This contest comes at a bad time. I'm too busy to really play right now, and my current campaign is a slog as the Swiss. Nothing really visually spectacular, just clockwork precision.

Why thanks guys...

I never quite participated in stuff like this before and strikes me as rather fun actually. Perhaps we might consider some limited regularity on MTW screen-competions in the future. Once every year perhaps or even every quater or something like that, it might be fun I think. Just throwing the idea out there... Anyhow, here the winner is by (not so) popular demand....

The winner of the big 10th anniversery screen-contest for MTW: "None Shall Pass" in all it's glory... I even got a highly coveted blip on my profile to
prove it - makes me very, very proud!

I actually, went the rather dry and boring title of: "The champion" first. Thus disregarding what I initially had in mind for it; which was "None Shall Pass" which is funnier and not so boring. The left unit is indeed a HRE champion-unit found in MTW-redux hence the dry and boring name. However, since Ludens forgot to include that title for it I think that I have now the chance to remedy that mistake in retrospect and thus call it what I initially considered from day1: "None Shall Pass"... So lets use that title instead for it, from now on. And yes, the Monty Python-reference is intentional.... :laugh4:

- Thanks again and cheers

I honestly can’t remember Faremisch (your profile-pic really scares the crap out of me :laugh4:), but I think so…. Royal Spearmen (the unit to the right), usually are too good to be vanquished by one sole champion (unless he has plenty of upgrades and high valour – then the champion might have a chance. A champion is similar to the STW sword-saint in effect). :mickey:

Drone: Never mess with da champ… :wink2:

- Cheers and thanks again

I've just been meaning to ask you: What was the fate of that warrior during that heroic last stand?
