How are they working with Lordz mappack?
Tell me if I'm wrong - did game allow us on having not more than 20 maps?

The Lordz pack is available on it’s own

http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=254177

or with ArcaniPlains listed above (Lordz is the other 6 maps).

Not sure how many maps you can have, but know you can only have one pack at a time.

Swapping is no big deal, but it sure would be nice if all of these were together, or the game could take additional packs somehow.

Btw my top pick of these is the RiverValley map.

It is only a 3v3 (whish people would make only 4v4s), and has a river to deal with (5 crossings), but it’s a beautiful place to spend some time

Another hot pick is the Lowhills (3v3), this will probably be a community favorite.

All the Flats are extreamely flat. The Bay map is interesting, but with a strange deployment.

Have Fun :2thumbsup:

Before anyone asks, these map packs come as compressed rar files, and need to be uncompressed. If you put everything in a folder on your desktop and uncompress them there, it is very easy then to copy the pack you wish to use to the data file where map packs are accessed by the game.

Game map folder:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data

Then when you want to use the other pack, delete the one you put in the data file first, and copy the new one to the data file. You can only have one at a time, but swapping them is easy.

If you are having trouble seeing the file path, here is some information that may be helpful in making things visible.

Saved game folders:

Vista/Windows 7:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\save_games

XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\Firesparks\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\save_games

Replay folders:

Vista/Windows 7:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\Replays

XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\Firesparks\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\Replays

To be able to see the AppData or the Application Data folders you will need to set hidden files to visible.

To do this on Vista open up Documents and select Organize from the bar at the top. Then select Folder and Search Options, then view, then check the box that says Show hidden files and folders.

To do it on XP open documents, select Tools, then Folder Options, then View, then check the box Show hidden files and folders.
