I am new to Empire Total War ( downloading off of steam as I type this ) but am interested in the online play .. I have played Rome and Medieval 2.. single player campaigns... I am 26 years old and work mon-fri 9am -5pm I am available any time after that... I am a very very serious gamer.. I have been playing WoW forever ( level 80 Mage Full T 8.5 and ulduar sets ) and wanna go back to my first love of strategy games ( starcraft junkie).. would really be interested in a guild with older people to save from alot of the :daisy: that comes with younger kids.. also interested in getting tips and pointer on my game.. I have a Headset and currently I am running Ventrilo but could d/l switch to any other (TeamSPeak / Roger Wilco Etc.)... please shoot me a response.. or and e-mail nater@aquagroupusa.com I have work here in like 5 hours have to goto bed ill be checking this site along with my e-mail all day at work and would like to get started ASAP. Thanks...

Nate

Hi Nate, and welcome to Empire Multiplayer!

Several things that would help in your quest for clansmanship would be:

What time zone you are in (+/_ GMT), and what is your Steam Profile name?

There are also Steam Groups that you can join to further announce your online presence.

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/etwmp

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/thecode

People are more likely to accept Invites to friend requests, if you have a group in common with them ;)

Ok, you’re on your way with two 1v1 battles, and I can tell already that you will be a very skilled warrior.

Now you need to study and test the capabilities of the different units, and learn the differences of the different factions.

Test also all of the non-fixed artillery, and all of the available projectile types.

Next some 2v2 will add some dimension, and then 4v4 offer the ultimate challenge and reward of multiplayer.

Nice to meet and play with you, see you again soon.
