So i've gotten back into total war and am now looking to find some fun and relaxed mp matches. The problem is, finding a game is proving to be somewhat difficult. The pool of games to choose from in my lobby is lacking (i have my region as toronto canada, and have tried others without greater success).

Upon reading several threads I've joined up with several steam groups but where do I go from there? Unfortunately I don't know anyone who plays, so I'm left with a big imposing list of random people.

Do you cold call people for games? Because that seems invasive to me, or am I missing a step somewhere in here?

Thanks for any advice and for taking the time to read this.

Join the big groups and use the group chat as foyer to ask for games (as Tomi posted it on the other thread).

Also, Lavos posted here how to see more games:

The best thing to do is to make friends and to have a big friend list. And yes IMO you can ask people in your group for a game, that is why they joined it on the first place I would think.
