How to install mods? help?

I just ordered the game but I am confused as how mods work with ETW, as it continually updates via steam. Wont steam simply patch over the changes made by mods

No. Mods come in packs which you just place in your main folder. Then you enable them using the Modmanger, which you can find a link to on here.

holy crap I had to go thru like 5 websites to find the download. and ltchambers doesnt seem to be answering replies. I unzipped it and loaded it and the only prob I got was an error saying it couldn't find some material, which is ok really since I don't have the game installed yet.
