Ran No Jidai Beta -Installation Instructions:

1. First Unzip all files within the .rar file, to a location your harddrive.
2. Take the SHOGUN_NEW Folder, the Ran No Jidai Beta.exe file and the RAN.ico file
and put them in your (.yourdrive.)/Program Files/Rome - Total War directory.
3. Right Click on the "Ran No Jidai Beta .exe" and choose properties, change the Drive Letter to the drive you have RTW installed in.
4. Voila Be ready to play when you start the Beta with the .exe Icon

IMPORTANT Extra Information:
-- When Choosing a Settlement in a Custom Battle "BE SURE" to choose the ROMAN faction in the selection menu
since that faction only features Japanese settlements at the moment in the beta.
-- Since ladders are the only siege equipment that is historically available to sieging armies, that option has been left
for the player to besiege settlements, IN THE BETA Rams have also been made available for lower Settlements (Level 1,2,3)
since ladders are unavailable for this settlement LVLS. We are aware of this, and left the rams option even though its terribly inaccurate.

Be Sure to Download the HOTFIX to anyone who has problems.
Also you must have the latest patch of Barbarian Invasion installed for the mod to work properly!
