With the construction of the new Gameroom Assembly Yard it allows players to prepare for their games much easier, a part of that process could be:

-Making Signatures to advertise your game
-Getting graphics required for your game (such as maps)
-Getting banners, pictures or other graphics, which you can then use in your game

If game hosts would like any of these things, ask here and myself or any other volunteers will hopefully create what your looking for. :thumbsup:


P.S. This was a good idea from Sigurd, credit goes to him. :bow:

I made several Versions, including an animated one (which would have looked good, but my animation plugin in GIMP was bugging out big time...) Overall, I feel the best one is this, I hope its ok:

I need something sober (black and white or sephia would be cool).

A man with a long, black cloak, walking in a narrow street (medieval or 19th century-ish (think Jack the Ripper)) and holding a shining silver dagger in his hand. It needs a dark atmosphere and the text "The daggers are hunting", preferably in silver letters.

Sounds challenging, in a good way.


As for tutorials you may look to the TWC, or the internet. i think the best method of learning with GIMP is by simply using it and trying different things.

The lighting on the guy is a bit random for a back alley but at least he stands out :grin:

I agree Beskar :smiley: I get the feeling he wasn't looking for that kind of effect but its there just in case. :tongue:

About time I got round to redoing andres, I nearly spelt it wrong again.... :laugh4:

I thought it was a bit darker than the other, which had bad lighting on the cloaked guy, the actual ripper guy isn't as sharp as I'd like him to be, but he blends in with the darkness I guess. :tongue:

I'd like to request a banner for my upcoming game, All Those Pretty Stars.

Using this (http://ogameblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Ogame-Wallpaper.jpg) image, in a sci-fi style font, I'd like it to say "All Those Pretty Stars - A Mafia/RPG Hybrid" and "Will you survive?"

As all the players except the host are confederates. I think some background and Logo in top of those flags would look great.:bow:

On a different note, I've decided I'm going to use a map for my game. Can anybody shed any light onto how I'd go about creating one?
