The trouble with Austria...

How come as France, I could recruit elite Polish lancers in Italy and Old Guard in Russia....

As Prussia, I raised Silesian Sharpshooters in Sweden and East Prussian Grenadiers in Belgium...

but Austria's Hungarian units, its main stregnth, are limited soley to Hungary?:furious3:

I guess it makes sense but it isnt consistent with the other factions recruiting. Basically, you are limited to leaving the Hungarian infantry in the east and the Germans in the west. Also, the fact that you caan't raise generic hussars sucks. You are stuck with Hungarian Hussars who can only be recruited in Hungary and end up with a red + recovery almost everywhere else.

At least it has made the Austria campaign more challenging:laugh4:

And yet, you can raise the 47th Czech in Paris, Marseille and Constantinople, to name just 3 cities nowhere near Prague.:confused:

And Highlanders only in Scotland.

The Old Guard could be filled with vets from other units at anytime I would think.

But unless the other units mentioned also recruited with veterans then there would seem to be some oversights…
