1) Q.The latest patch for ETW is 1.6, right? With the big battle AI overhaul.
A. Yes.

2) Q. Is the campaign map for NTW the whole world, or just Europe? Whole world would be awesome.
A. Just Europe and the Mediterranean, answered by IncubusDragon.

3) What Native American factions are in ETW? What are the European and non European factions?
A. Partial answer - there are many different factions, but only about 8 playable (most of Europe, and one in India), with the vanilla version.

4) Is the Warpath Campaign strictly download only, or can it be bought in a retail store?
A. At least in England, Empire and Warpaths can be bought together. Answered by IncubusDragon.

5) Is the Peninsula Campaign (expansion for NTW) download only, or can it be bought in a retail store?

6) How the heck do you mod a game uploaded to one's steam account?

7) Does NTW have animated ship battles, like ETW? Definately would kick ass. :smitten:

Don't know the country you're in mate, but in England, I have seen all Empire TW DLC (including Warpath campaign) available on a single DVD in Game/HMV for around £15

I don't actually play ETW, so don't know the other points other than to confirm NTW map is Europe and Mediterranian (Battle of Nile and Battle of the Pyramids are historic battles that can be played)

Well, I have another question: why does STEAM only patch Empire Total War to the 1.5 patch, and not 1.6? Do I need the Warpath Campaign installed as well?

Still, first impressions are.... rather sweet. :kiss2:

The last patch didn't change the patch number is all. It may have changed the build number but that is it.

So it should still say 1.5? Why not 1.6, how am I definately supposed to know... :furious3:

With updates on steam it is very difficult to have an old version of the game.

Why the developers chose not to change the version number is beyond any here to say, unless one of the CA staff chimes in to let us know. But so far that has not happened.

They have all been very quite for a long time now.
