On the new Total War forums, they've introduced member pages in the "war room". If you sign up to this, they'll give you a new unit for the British - the 10th Hussars (light cavalry) that's available in both singleplayer and multiplayer.

Maybe not earth-shattering news, but a nice historic unit to add to the roster.

10th are actually dragoons with a range of 125 but without the ability to dismount (AFAIK).

Yes mate, the 10th shoot on horseback, so can be very handy for taking the sting out of those bleedin lancers if used a bit like horse archers were in Medieval times.

Hussars are funny. These guys have made me laugh a few times just with their arrogance.

Of course this unit seems to be mounted rifles with the slowest reload times. They take about a week before the second shot.

They will always be hard to replenish, if they take losses but it is a good unit to have on a flank.

It is also in the Pen. Campaign once you build up the top level Ports.
