long loading time [Archive]

is it me, or does it take a long time before it show the intro video? can't they load stuff while the video is running... it better than staring blankly into the red screen...

Same here. I get the title picture while waiting for the intro movies to show up though.

yes everything takes a long time to load.

hmm for me its only when i start the game. otherwise load times are quite acceptable

YUP! After I click on my desktop icon for the game I go feed the dog, take a shower and have lunch then game is just about loading.

ETW had the very same problem, takes a while to load the game for some reason. It's annoying but I really don't mind too much. All the other load times (including turn time for the AI) are super short. That wasn't the case for ETW ~:(
