Sengoku Jidai interactive history 7 years anniversary game

Hi,
It has been almost 7 years since we had quite some fun hosting and playing Sengoku Jidai IH. Many years have passed and i have never stopped reading about the medieval history of Japan and i hope my knowledge about the era has somewhat increased during these years.

I am warming up to the thought of hosting an sequal and i just wanted to ask you people if there were any interest for such, before and if i start serious work towards making it happen?:bow:

Sounds interesting. I am not well versed in the history of the period. Might have to play some Shogun 2 to brush up on it :laugh4: Mind adding more buildings for turtling/non aggressive players? Especially for income?

Also, is there a way to play effectively without gunpowder? How does religion play into all this?

It will be a new game. I am moving the starting date and there will be changes compared to the old one. I also have certain ideas how to prevent the turns from dragging on so badly, which seems to be the main problem of these kind of games. Hopefully we can still outlast this one my friend.~:)
