Crash when playing Historical Campiagns

I've got STW warlord edition v1.02. When I start some missions in the historical campaigns they always crash after just a few minutes, for examlpe the last mission in the mongol campaign. Some missions crash almost instantly. The rest of the game runs nicely though.

The problem you are experiencing is due to the 1.02 patch. If you want to play through the historical campaigns, you have to uninstall and then reinstall warlord edition. Play all your historical campaigns before reinstalling the patch, if you decide to reinstall the patch at all.
