Gamespy always says details incorrect

Have you tried to re-install and then play the game?
Maybe its a bad CD-Key, contact the company if you can't get it to work. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wacko.gif

Hey Raistlin,

First of all, you do, in fact, have a Gamespy Account? (Don't get mad, I had to ask).

Second, making sure your CD Key has been input correctly:

Put the CAPS LOCK on. Type the CD Key exactly as you see it, i.e. XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX - including the hyphons is important.

Third, sometimes the Gamespy Server is not working properly. When this happens, it tells me my details are incorrect.

Usually about 15 minutes later, everything is alright.

At what point in the login are you receiving the message? Are you logging in directly to GameSpy or are you going through MTW?
