Ok any1 who plays the multi player should know me or have at least battled me the only thing is multi player is way better than single player for many reasons but very little amount of ppl play it.

1. its ppl ur playing against so they r more unpredictable

2. most of the time its a good atmosphere unless ceo cpu is on hes a real gimp

3. u learn knew tactics mutch quiker and easier than in sp.

4. its just more fun

ok so theres more but i only woke up 20 minutes ago so im still tired and i aint had a game yet today.
this is realy an appeal to any1 who reads this to plz play this great game more often and if ur a newbie then expect to lose ur first 10 games even if u think ur great.
and if u decide to play there is nuthing worse than quiting in middbattle it usualy screws up the whole battle.
plz plz plz ppl play multiplayer just once and u will see how good this game is http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/pat.gif

I played a MP battle last night for the first time, and I must say it was excellent fun.

The game mechanics are a lot more unforgiving than in SP, because human opponents will take advantage of things the AI player won't.
Tha might cause some ppl to think it's 'broken', but in actuality it probably simply means they're not very good.

I don't go for a special reason : My PC overheats faster, & the game crashes often. It is NOT related to the game(happens in everygame I play), but the lone time I did try, it did crash at the very moment of armies clash. No fun for me, no fun for the other guy.....

Good morning Knight_Yellow and congrats on your first topic (may you have many more http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif ).
I agree with you: Multi-Player is a great function of the TotalWar series. I MP'd almost exclusively in Shogun: TotalWar. But I admit that with MTW, I've mostly played SP, because its so danged engrossing.
Reading your plea makes me want to strap on the old armour and go Vikining again. I'll look for you on-line after work, so you can teach this old dog some new tricks http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
