I'm playing the campaign as the English and using the 1453 fix. I now own England, France, the Lowlands and Spain. However, I would like to upgrade my armies.
So here a few questions.
1. if every province is upgraded to the max, does every province create a unit of the same quality if they create the same type of unit? E.g. I create Chivalric men at arms, does a unit of this type equal the same quality as an exactly the same unit but build in another province but ignoring the valour that some provinces add?
2. which provinces create the best chivalric men at arms, chivalric knights and chivalric spear infantry? And which provinces create the best longbow men?
I'm trying to figure out if there is a diffirence between provinces when creating units when they all are upgraded to the max and ignoring valour bonus.
My armies consist of men at arms, heavy spear infantry (the yellow/gold ones), the big knight cavalry (chivalric knights?) and longbow units.
I upgraded so far that I want to get rid of weaker units and build them again but with better quality.
regards,
