HELP it is 1300 and I have master gunsmiths but I cannot produce Handguns

All the gunpowder units are limited to the late era. This means you can't build them until 1321.

It does seem a tad weird though.

That would be why I modded out all period requirements in my units file. Although I really need to put them back for royal knights and ghulam bodyguard, it's just too strange without them.
