this is mainly for the MP clan players but if you are ronin then please still vote as im sure there will be a number acoounted for in any coming project

i am assuming here that virtually nobody will vote no *fingers crossed* if this is what we all want then we need to sort out EXACTLY what needs doing for one to be viable

is it Unit Balancing Only or are there technical problems that are out of our hands? if so then we need these problems to be addressed, we may not be able to change these now but, we will at least be able to hope for the add-on pack if the problems are known to all.

well it contained more, also teh rules. but for now the progress is stalled since the future of mtw is not very bright at teh moment. but we encourage everyone else to try one. it will show how many work is really involved, and a clan based campaign wont work with the clans/wargamers we have now.

I think the campaigns before had too many clans we always settled for little or new clans to fill the gaps (no offence intended) Maybe a campaign with 2-4 clans who are friendly may work.

well the gamemasters didnt wanted it to be "maggies friends" only. the game is begging for some sort of campaign possibility and eventually we will see such a thing. perhaps our khan can compete with his sons by then http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif

I would love an MP campaign.....

But for the moment I think we have to make our own. There are plenty of hex based tools to create and run maps.

However, I havent found an interactive online version yet.

I would love an online campaign, and have actually been thinking of one that would be quite extensive. If you looking to perhaps make one baz, next time I see you online ill run my idea by you and we could work on it together http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Hmmm baz, I got time right now. Were you thinking about designing one? I'll talk to ya tonight - if we can get five or six clans interested, then I reckon we should do it.

If MTW was multiplayable in campaign mode, I'd buy half my staff a copy and force them to play during lunchbreaks (those nice 3 hour ones).

history have shown that clans appreciate it that the hosters dont participate in a campaign, thats a big drawback in making one for the big public.

I dont really know where to go from here and there are many ppl that have a far greater knowledge to help implement such a project...

Magy i know you want a campaign and to be honest i think you could do a great job in doing it...so let me help you here, talk to me about why you dont see it being a success? If you were to help manage such a campaign i think it only fair that you participate aswell (after all the wolves heads will be the main encouragement for the rest of us http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif )

Maybe we could have a panel run it, representatives from throughout the community...

I will gaurantee that i will do whatever i can to help and also will make sure kenchi have a active participation...i believe this will kickstart a lot of interest abd could be a fantastic achievement.

How do you see the situation?

and btw you get my overspending logfiles?

EDIT: spelling...

It's gotta be real quick... ten turns max or sommat with real strict deadlines for games. Lemme think about it.

The question I always have about these campaigns are, are they just land-based? Meaning...are they only to grab land, or is there money/koku/florins involved? Like in the real campaign...

Magyar Khan

there are florins involved for

embarking an army (500 per unit) representing shiphiring

raising castle one level (1000 i think)

refresh army with new units

hi all at first

in my opinion, the campaign should have the rules based on the SHOGUN-Campaign, but without extra-money for the bigger clan (bigger means more lands)

and also the maps and the mapratings should be changed.

more flatlands needed then in shogun-campaign, so the mapratings is not so important and so the attacker and the defender have similar flornis-stats.

advantage: the playskill has more importants, and not the differnce of money attacker/defender.

ok thats for the first.
