Dunno either im afraid m8 http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif
well i dont know if its been posted, but ill answer anyway
basically where each faction starts on the map is thier best form of terrain, so next time you play in a campagin, just take note of what the terrain is like...
basically though
Catholics - Lush, Temperate, Arid(not the best but still good)
Orthodox:
Byzantine - Arid, Lush, some desert??
Russia - temperate, lush, arid
Muslim - Desert, Arid, some lush(depends on units)
I know heavy armoured units tire faster in Temperate, arid,Desert..
So best stayin away from these i guess...but maybe u need them but dont use them till the last min to keep them as fresh as u can http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
I not really looked into how fast units tire in desert etc.Can somebody shed some light on this?

Camels are actually pretty good if used in desert on flanks of cavalry. I've done some serious damage on royal knights with them.
Beware of camels in desert. They walk funny but they can spit The horses got insulted and ... ran away. Somehow horse doesn't like camel spit on its tail or its mane.
