Great stuff. I'd count the prisoners amongst the dead, once those Janissaries get hold of em http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Congratulations Faisal and with the Turks too http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif I too consider prisoners as dead......they are just future enemies waiting for revenge.
I trust you dispatched them later? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Hey Congrats Faisal. I'm sure you'll win many more. I like to play the Turks too, makes it pretty challenging at times.

Hiya Faisal
thx for the replay
It's funny that u were the only one with desert capable troops. Although your JHI (Janissary heavy Infantry) must have cursed you for making them run around in the desert LOL http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif I think the turning point was when the Danish general was killed. At that stage, fortunately, the 400 or so Chiv Sarges started to run. Once the rout was underway, it was difficult to reverse. Hilarious towards the end one Janissary Infantry was routing a whole battalion. About your ally, I think it was a mistake to take the offensive, why would anyone leave such a great defensive position ? Anyway he did have a positive influence on the outcome because of his Chivalric Knights. Good Job

played my first MP as well yesterday. Took byzantines , forgot to give em valor...they routed in 1 minute or so http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif , it was fun to think of it though http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
most people get caught off with the valour when the first start, and also tend to go for knights... my seccond game involved 16 units of gothic knights, valour 0 on a desert map.... boy did i learn fast

Congrats, like amp says; we can use some experts.
Anyone with a quick thinking head and solid strategical mind can do well at this game. On saying that the 'pick 16 horses and say u 'cheat'after they lose' after each game people are far too common place. On saying that welldone and i think i won my first on line game on shogun around someones house on their comp. Those were the days.....
one thing i have noticed about this game online is that there isnt too much slander..
although it has increased a little of late http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif

weirdly enough my turkish army talked latin and the music was'nt arabic http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif on the defensive position subject i tried to convince him he was in a good place, but he said bring your army to my position,by the time he said it he was ahead of me so i made my troops run so i can catch up,after a few moments his army clashed with the danish while the enemies ally clashed with mine(the spanish in almohad color)he was poorly organised i guess(who would make spears goto wedge formations?)so i brought my jans and let my archers do the dirty work, after that the other half of the danish army clashed with my army and i managed to kill both of em,luckily the danes general died so the battle ended pretty fast http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif well what really scared me was the spanish and danish advancing towards me(i thought they did at first)i though i was gonna lose but eventually i woni'll try the barney bunch today and see what i can get hehehe http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
