We are pleased to present the Hall of Fame awards for 2002,
(* and before any of you jokers out there start I know it's now 2003 *) :)

Thank you very much to all those who participated in the process with ideas for categories, nominations and voting.

I've double checked these results, so any problems are entirely of my own making,
I have chosen to list the runners up, simply because i think it's polite to do so. Besides most of the runners up were only one or two votes behind the winner
(* if only your brother had voted for you like he promised...*)

If you have won more than one award you don't get an extra icon, you simply get bragging rights
:D
(Icons are on their way - it just might take a day or so,)

Website Badges for those clans and websites who won awards are also on their way,
If you wish you can display the badge on your website.

We will also be posting all the reults onto a webpage,
soonish...
:D

enough rambling from me,
on to the Winners

Congrats all who won an award, were runner up or nominated.

I like to thank all who voted for me (including myself...oops...shame on me http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif ).

Now I got an award (most honourable STW/MI guy) I feel a bit uncomfortable with it, because many deserve it perhaps more...Fucy, KenchiNinjaKilla, 7Bear7Dej, JochiKhan, Shinkage guys, AggonyStefan and AggonyBetou and many more, including some unknown heroes.

Can I give the award to the Sword Dojo and all who post overthere? Can't be too difficult.

I'm honoured by the Aggony website award (plus runner up), the award for Aggony as most honourable clan is very nice also for my former clanmates. Noblesse oblige...keep up the good work http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

Hail Everyone,

I know it is a bit over done but it was an honor just to be mentioned in this great field of competitors, generals and .org members. STW was the first game I ever played online more than a dozen times.

Special thanks:

RageStorm for helping a young ronin in STW and being the first to point out to me that the number beside a persons name wasnt a measure of there honor or valor.

All the Mizu's and Yuuki in particular for taking the time out to help a newbie figure stuff out i.e. getting custom maps to work and helping me learn how to use the statswapper and more.

Ace So although he doesnt play in MTW he had alot of patience with an eager but very bad newbie. Pretty much held my hand through my growing pains and sacrificed many wins by teaming up with me in 2v2's to show me tactics.

To my Round Table Knight clan mates for accepting me and making me feel welcome. I never new online play could be so much fun. We might not always win but we always give it our all and have fun in the meantime.

Thanks to the MTW community and noble players of MTW who make this game so much fun. Everytime I log on I see dozens of honorable players who I have tons of fun with I hope this trend continues. Thank you all gentlemen

Lol larossa compitions are all about hard work and preperation http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif You guys must have done well while my comrades are swatting away pesky fears and obviously not training for whats important, Maybe fears had that in mind all along, although i doubt it http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif Well done http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

well some wolves were drifting in some battles as well as their logfiles showed me. i even didnt dare to look for teh replays. soem even didnt know teh map before they entered teh competition. most likely teh result of underestimating the enemy. but its better this way, before someone complaints about me making the rules to the wolves liking or some sort. my shaman informed me that teh belt will return to the wolves den in the near future.

well lrossa never contained teh most skilled members concerning gameplay, but their involvement is immense, as there were about 20 members online that last nite. that deserved an award as well. although some have some behaviour problems concerning respect and sportmanship. perhaps spent less time training units and maps and train a bit more sportmanship?

u deserved the win if u look at the score, here is the final belt as it is now

TO KAS: Well m8 i wanted to reply to your "gentle" post, but it seemed that now it's been deleted...It's a shame that noone can see it. i'd like to speak about it online, but it seems that you are never playing on multy...Well continue to post, we'll continue to play online
Bye http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

TO MAGY: i dont know well what happened after the last game Magy, but i'm sure that you have your reason. For sure. I can only make my "sorry" for what happened. We dont miss sportmanship like you dont miss. If something has happened it's only dued to our immense willing to win the belt. As you said we have worked hard for this, and i can assure you we dont need to spend time on training sportmanship.
I know it.
Well more luck the next time, as challengers, against us or Elite.
Bye bye

nominations were open to all,
and all awards except the Extra Categories were voted on by the members of the Org,
I'd Suggest your spies pay more attention to what is happening,

the Wolves began nominating (and not just their own clan members i am happy to report) within minutes of the nominations being opened, and the same when voting opened too,
- it's kinda scary, i'm the only one who knew when the nominations and voting polls would open...(* barocca glances around nervously *)... i have come to the conclusion the GWIS truly does have spies everywhere...

Magyar, your clan don't know the maps that YOU choose? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/shock.gif
And so,i don't know why your clan underestimate our players, most of you know much of us,you play many time with our clan,Nashwan and Kocmoc too,Paolai even is ex-Lunarossa and know very good many of us.

So your Shaman must know that other challenger are waitin for fight with us:the Belt,i hope,is a competition for entire community of Total War's Clans, and not LRossa vs Wolves until Wolves get again the belt.

This words with respect and "sportmanship" http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif

Barroca, yes we are everywhere. look outside your window and what do u see.....

LordJim, yes i picked teh map and ofcourse u all can believe what u want. i know peopel who think teh rules are created to help teh wolves. but teh real reason is that the fucking onlien bugs and misbalances keep scaring some of our members and teh belt was one of my attempts to get them back. and perhaps some of our members underestimated teh challenge, didnt show up for trainings and battles. motivation is what failed on our side. so both clans have something to work on.
well enjoy the belt, u deserved it.

I deleted that reply myself, because it was too harsh and far from nice.

meaning? I did not mean any offence to the lrossa merely saying that We wolves were maybe abit arrogant not training harder for the belt. A kick up the bum is what most clans around could do with..... and weve just had ours http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

02-06-2003, 15:40
it is offensive Lrossa to say that you didnt play your best because you were busy fighting fears... they beat you fair and square, yet you still make up a stupid excuse for losing... what ever happened to "gg"??

actually...kocmoc and paolai were very honorable in their responces and actions concerning lrossa... i never saw them say anything but how well lr played and how honorable they were... u2 should be considered role models for all the cwb battles to come...but your member swoosh was talking some nonsense about full bellies, swatting, not training...blah blah blah... even though she didnt even particapate... i found that personaly offensive becasue the loss in her words was blammed on the fears... udder nonsense... but in case i wasnt clear before...i dont think the clan wolves as a whole was desrespectful or rude ...just swoosh...

If im as bad as you portray maybe magyar will make me an evil wolf, although i intended to be neutral sheesh.

FearofNC
02-06-2003, 17:50
good...then maybe you will stop trying to bring up the fears or me in every other post you make here at the org. i look foward to the welcomed change.

oh...and as to your edit... neutral?? i seem to remember at you jumping at the chance to engage me verbaly in the forum, you were one of the most vocal spokespersons in the fear v wolf thread in case you forgot.. and im sure the nc vs the world thread was another great example of your desires to remain neutral... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
