Heirs and units

I would like to see royal units with a different banner at least on the battle field, if you have an army with 6 royal knight units in it, say 3 of these units are heirs, how on earth are you supposed to tell what one is royal or not? so you may risk your heirs life when you dident need to http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif Or they should make units for heirs that can only be royal and not mass produced http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Good idea, as not only from a game mechanics point of view, but what are the odds of a Heir going to a battle field without everybody knowing who they are (else what is the point?). Or one could have heirs that are good at combat that have the big banner as they relish combat (similar effect to the general when alive / killed), whereas others who are not as good might not have any effect at all.

a king is given a gold crown above their banner in MTW, all u must do is give the heirs a crown of silver. then you will be able to tell both ur kings and heirs apart from thos of other units.
