I thought i'de not miss all that infernal hooowwweeellling but it seems i've gotten used to it, and dont sleep well without it, can we have a vote from the community to reinstate them without such a fuss as to split the community? Could the desires of the community (as a whole) have some impact on this matter? Can we have some thoughts from everyone?(without slinging mud plz)

With all the talk about a new site and some people leaving the org? Its sad for the MP community as there are not many of us. Im just fed up of seeing (constructive) threads being ruined by...well mud slinging.

Moved from JF to WatchTower.

Thank you for posting.

Anyone who agrees with the banning should immediately delete the free logfile reader provided by Magy.

For someone who has devoted so much effort to support his friends' enjoyment of the game, this is too much.

Good words 1dread1lahll, it's time to leave the trenches, cure some old wounds, fix some mistakes and change things.
To start:

totalwar.org Guild forums are a no fire zone for ALL.

I'm pretty serious about this, I know that we are all human here and that some accidents will happen. Patrons will solve that or the mods will. Some ACTS create so much fuss, that it undermines the discussions here (Units tire to fast went completely out of hand). And yes, I finally respond harsh to that. I'm not out to nail anyone though, this is a no fire zone. If I were, I should not be administrator. Behave and you won't even know I'm here.

The Guild itself won't change much, apart that I'll do the technical part of this forum when the dust has settled down.

Splitting the community is not a good idea yet, we aren't that big, but I'm pretty convinced that a new room is required for the stuff that can't be played here.

Totalwar.org can make extra domains, this one has an SQL database of its own, which is really helpful for a new forum.
http://clan.totalwar.org It has a basic install of the same board as this one (other boards can be installed too). It also has it's own cgi-bin to run scripts.

Guild moderators will have no say there, nor will I (except when it goes so bad that the host complains).

Kocmoc, Magyar and Monsta are not banned. Read what the message says: adjust your act in these forums. That has nothing to do with opinions but behaviour.

So far, I only received one e-mail.

My view is this since the 3 wolves members "leaving" the discussions in the jousting fields have basically stopped, their input imo however arrogant it may seem is in my opinion crucial to start debates on the mp state of the game. It seems like things have already gone too far for a turn around and new steps will be put in place outside the org for a multiplayer discussion site or forum. A sad state of affairs that has already stopped me from visiting the jousting fields last post in there i can see was 5 hours ago (not good at all).

Well, thanks for the link. I have been following all this a little and it is always good to hear some people on the other side. Must say they are sounding a bit paranoid though... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif But what do I know. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Well, I know a cheap shot when I see one.

As Rodney King once asked, 'Can;t we all just get along?'

Sadly, not always.

Lahll, CBR, Kras, Tosa, Swoosh all make good points though.
