The forums were down for several hours yesterday. Reason was the host moving our site to a new server. It could have been done in an 'instant', but we forgot that the SQL passwords has been changed since the host created the database. The host is in the USA timezone while I live in The Netherlands: it took me several hours to respond to their e-mail.

No data seems to be lost.

The server went 'on' and 'off' some 6 hours ago. One of the SQL tables (not one that contains vital information) became locked and the whole forum became unavailable. The locked table was pretty easy to fix once spotted.

A backup has been made and some maintenance on the forum and SQL database.

I apologize for the long downtime.

ahh i did notice it would load up the board but not let me look at any topics was most annoying but there is no need to apologise not your fault at all....
