Hello again, fellow story-spinners, tale-tellers and myth-makers. The Org has a new proposition for you.

Since our efforts to name this forum went so well, with everyone cooperating and contributing, we thought we would extend that working model to the selection of assistant moderators for this place. My role as moderator here is only temporary, so we thought we'd consult you, the regular patrons of these forums, to help us pick new assistant moderators (1 each) for Mead Hall and Throne Room.

How it works: nominate 1 of your fellow posters, or volunteer yourself, here in this thread. We'll close this thread Friday night, tally the names & post a poll with the top 10 contenders. Then we'll vote in that poll until Sunday, 24 Aug, 2000 GMT (noon PDT), and send the top vote-getter's name to TosaInu.

Before you jump too quickly into the fray, remember that Moderator is a position of trust and confidence, and does involve a bit of work, including regular attendance and assisting patrons who need help. It's an unpaid, volunteer position. On the bright side: being a Moderator is a positive way for you to contribute to the overall good of the TotalWar community.

I nominate Demon of Light

He's been involved in virtually every PBEM thread, helping out, collating the stories into one thread etc.

BTW KK, you forget to mention whether or not patrons can refuse to be a mod - at any stage nomination, voting, approval by TosaInu...

I would also like to put my name forward, given my work in the Viking campaign and my own personal affinity for PBM campaigns.

I am planning a couple more Campaigns after my turn in the HRE Campaign is over and done with.

I second the motion for Demon Of Light, he has done alot of work in these PBM threads and if we can have a Bastard as a Moderator why not a Demon. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif LOS

I'll put my support behind Demon of Light as well. Although i have never participated yet, I have noticed that he puts alot of effort in to PBM's.

Demon Of Light would make a fine mod, I suspect.

I'd be happy to lend a hand, I'm in here most days of the week.

IMO, other potential good mods here; Simon Appleton and Cazbol...

They know how to keep a PBM running....

Yes Demon seems to have done his fair share of the work in this forum.

Emperor would also be a fine choice as he has handled the viking campaign well.

Fine job, fellas. This thread gets closed, then, and a poll put up with the names of the candidates.
