Ive only been playing for about 2 weeks now - but what a great game
Only thing missing is MP Campaign - saw the thread about it but cant post there
If the modders could download and upload the battles that the SP campaign produces (inc skills/moral/reserves/maps/attacker-defender) - then the 2 protagonists could give it large at each other as a custom battle? (need to return the results to the 'host&#39http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I have played some MP with a friend of mine but without the campaign it looses its appeal after a while.

It would be really good if there were an online campaign.
My thinking is:
It could be turn based with email notifications of your turn, when you meet an enemy it sends an email to that person if they are offline informing them that they have a battle to fight. (May need a time limit if they dont respond so that you automatically take the province) The two people then fight the battle online with spectators and the issue is resolved.

Although this method would be more like a PBEM game it may be easier to manage.

Whatever it is quite a complicated problem of how it would work.

Could be really good fun making alliances and double crossing people etc etc.

There is a MP campaign topic in this forum too, started by MILITARYMAN. If you have to reply to a topic in another forum, post your reply in the forum in a new topic with the same title as the one you are replying to. Add a request to copy your post to the original post (include which forum it is in) and one of the moderators will copy it for you.
