Getting N:TW to work without VI?

Is it possible? I installed medmod and it turned my menu image into the VI one so I figured it might make it compatable but, guess it wasnt http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/angry.gif

I hope this hasnt been stressed or talked about before, sorry im a newbie

Hi Juggmo. NTW isn't compatible for the original only VI. You can get the LOTR BETA for Medieval which is great fun.

I advise VI , because of two things:

1 It makes modding easier

Greetings Juggmo, as BKB stated NTW will not function without MTW VI2.0 as the platform, we used VI to take advantage of more modding options it has to offer, and these are not found in earlier versions of MTW sorry mate, But I can recommend you get VI it is well worth it on its own... LOS
