Just wondering if anyone knows whether you can edit the game in the VI addon, so that generals no longer die of old age?

Botox? Anti-aging? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Actually when a general dies, he is replaced by another name which has exactly the same stats (his son?). Which creates no sadness at all. For example my 9 acumen Qadi al Quda died and immediately after another 9 acumen general became my Qadi al Quda. No I am not assigning titles automatically. I always assign my own generals.

So why would you like to make them zombies?

Greetings and welcome to the Org Lord Guilt. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

The dying generals was a new feature added in VI - which appears to have lead to the kings dying at 56 years old bug. But that is another story. Anyway, I don't think something like this is mod-able. I could be wrong though.

That note of a general dying is just saying that he would have died if you had activated green generals, so when you get that message it means nothing. Now if you want to make it realistic you have to activate it and generals will die after 40 years of service.

So as for right now you don't have to do a thing
