Napolean mod no go.

Hi all my first post, great site too. I just d/led the napolean mod, when i load the game nothing is diff, still mtw no napolean. Do you launch the game with the mtw icon or is there a seperate launcher for the nap mod?
I just copied and pasted the game so i had 2 versions 1 for vanilla and one for the mod. I installed the mod into the medieval dir is this right?

Can anyone help me out please, this mod looks impressive.

That NTW is awesome I can finally put away fields of glory. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif Playing as the prussians, wiped polish and danes off the map and have swallowed 3/4 of russia so far,hehe. I must say the danes gave me a big surprise, they charged straight at my boys. Lucky i had some dragoons handy. This has prob been said before but is it me or are the artillary general killers?

Havn't had this much fun since i first played Sid Meier's Gettysburg.

One big thankyou to all involved in this great mod.

Alright, it's my turn to be a noobie, because I have failed all evening to get the Nap mod to work out. I extracted into Medieval but there is still no change. What on earth am I missing?

Ok this is what hap to me. I extracted ntw into the mtw dir. Then if you look into the mtw dir you'll see another folder saying medieval total war. The contents of that folder have to be installed into the main dir. Hope that helps. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Can you tell us what you did to install it? Where did you put the files?

I have been receiving reports of install troubles and we are working on this , the problem is it involves for the most part foreign language versions which NTW does not support, you can play on a foreign language version if you set it up correctly, the best way we have seen so far is to do a re-install of MTW then when applying th patch when prompted for what language type enter English this will install English LOc files even to a foreign version and from what I have read from other people this workaround seems to help.. If you still are having troubles e-mail us at lords@thelordz.co.uk and be specific as to what version of the mod you have, the version of MTW, language version etc.. Thanks LOS
