Greetings dear patrons of the org http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/pat.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
I am going to do a Master's program, next year (2004), or if necessary due to admission time constraints, I'll go for 2005. I am interested in the following:
-Military History (doh ), preferably Oriental
-Asian Studies
-Management (MBA type)
-Political Science
The choice of program depends a lot on future income capacity, although if I had my way I'd try to go for Military History. Problem is I don't think I can do Military History or the other options, becuase that would mean a far poorer income in the future. Getting a bit older, I need to think about the next generations and hence I'll probably opt for a Management program and ideally pursue some history, politics on the side. Sounds unlikely that I may be able to achieve that, so I guess I'll have to stick with a Management degree.
I am not confined by geography, and am willing to go wherever necessary to get a good education, a good student life and a generally time_of_a_lifetime experience. Sounds geeky ? well I love learning http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif
Finally as a background I have an undergraduate degree: Bachelor of Business Administration, magna cum laude with majors in Finance & Marketing, received 1997. I have 4 years of experience in banking + 1 year as head of sales and marketing for a consumer electronics firm.
It's time to get back to school for me, I think.
I'd be most grateful if any of the org members could give me some tips (names, locations etc..) on post-graduate schools.
Cheers and many thanks for your help. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
