Big mistake

One day i was playing shogun i find the place where my enemy was and like always i send first my archers to go to fire position(a bug that i have learned in lords of the realms 2) i always use fisrt my archers to kill my enemy archers, but this time the pc atack early that i was thiking ,when he atacked my infantary almost ashigaru( to my downfall =(( )was to back from my archers and my 3 units of heavy cav was in flanking positin to atack my anemy archers and shogun(this case) conclusion my entire army rout i only see ashigaru run for the entire map http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif my cav been cut to pieces8 i send them to atack to see if they cause a morale drop if they killed the enemy shogun but was to early the yari samurai where to near wet.I lose a battlle agasint the imagawa cowards (cannot be3lefie that)

Hehe, my worst defeat was one of the first TW battles I fought... if I remember it correctly, I outnumbered the Ikko Ikki monks 2 to 1 or more... but they were on a high hill and they slaughtered my ashigaru and archers... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wacko.gif

One of my first battles was as the Uesegi vs. Takeda in the Shinano province. The battlefield was covered in mist and I decided to move my Yari Ashigaru and Yari Cavalry up the huge hill to the left. The only problem was Takeda already held the high ground which I discovered as my Ashigaru crested the rise mere yards from his heavy cavalry.
