A crusader prayer

Well heres my next offering,its based on a doomed garrison of a castle. Set somewhere in the middle east during the Crusades....... enjoy.

A crusader prayer

Oh lord please dont forsake us now
In this are final stand
The battles raging all around
Oh lord please bless my men
All day they fought in this wretched heat
Keeping your banner flying high
And lord i know when this day is done
We will be with you by your side
Lord hear my prayer please hear me now
For the enemys at the gate
These sands may clean and bleach our bones
But are spirits they shall not break
Lord god almighty look on us now
And give us strengh to wield our swords
For this foriegn land may keep our flesh
But our hearts are always yours
Amen
