What does this mean?

This is a zipped archive and does not check the registry key, it's the same legal exe though. Just unzip to your MTW VI rootdirectory.

Welcome to the org forums.

The installer found at 3DGamers.com earlier this week checks the registry in Windows for the install path. The installer just quits when none is found (re-installing images of the system disk can cause this). Some people have several copies of MTW installed on one computer in order to play or make mods. The installer is causing problems for those people too.

Thus we zipped the exe, original readme and version.inf files. Checked again for viruses and posted it. Same legal stuff, but different distribution for your convenience.
