I was playing as the English with WesMod 3.11 installed (loving it, great job Wes)last night. After a hundred years of fighting, assasination, and witch/demon hunting, the mighty british empire now have stacks of army guarding its borders consisting of flanders, lorraine, ile de france, anjou, and aquitaine. The Danes have have wiped out the Russians and taken control of the seas, with fleets and fleets of ships guarding its coasts. The have taken control of all northern russia and everything from saxony to khazar. The italians have everything south of the danes except the papacy and the fearsome sicilians. The british monarchy decided that it should strengthen its borders before taking on the Italians or the Almohads, whome had just wiped out the Calatrava and Hidalgo Order of the Spanish and Argonese. The king then decided to undertake a series of inquisition campaign against its neighbors and their most renowned generals and heirs. Many generals and heirs were burn to a most satisfying, crispy, and delicious manner.
The year is now 1216, and BAM, the Italian King died naturally at the age of 56 with no heirs. Its holdings from Provence to their newly acquired khazar have turned rebel yes, i thought to myself as now i can finally start my own little crusade to claim now what will be mine. Coincidentally, the French reappeared, with 4 stacks of army attacking the former italian province of Franconia. The stacks of rebels at toulouse, swabia, and burgundy all decides to join the newest crowd. What a turn of events, i thought. But alas, i could not. As i quicksaved and got myself ready for a 3-way free-for-all at franconia, the screen turned black, all black the background music repeatedly play the same 10 second of music to no end, and i couldn't even alt-tab, alt-f4, or ctrl-esc myself out of the game. the world had end in the year 1217, and i am hoping that this annoying crash will not repeat, as i am doing some heavy duty windows updating. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/shock.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif
