Prologue:
Death is a fleeting experience, a momentary lapse in the curse which plagues me. I am not a damned soul, I am a student of mankind's history. But to learn, I must kill. To live, I must die many times to rise again and kill.
I have walked amongst men, who, like shadows, fade in time's ravages. I have seen their sons, grandsons, descendants and those yet to be born. I, too will destroy them, if they are unfortunate.
Cursed, but not damned.
Immortal, but for only a brief moment.
Blood is coursing through me. Beside me is my sword. Time is no hindrance, my next battle is.
History records the names of those who have died and achieved great things. History only remembers me as a myth: I am the wandering Jew.
