The question is, what is your favorite T.V show?
Personally, my favorite is Ed, Edd and Eddy. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif
I also enjoy the old show Combat.

I watch virtually zero TV now, but when I was growing up and well through my teens and young adulthood, I'd have to say my favorite TV show was Star Trek (the original). I enjoyed New Generation for the most part, but the Star Trek series' that came after New Generation I just couldn't get into.

I'd go for the Simpsons too.
However, the series is broadcasted daily around 17:00 pm, so I don't have the time to watch the show (too early). That's a pity because the Simpsons always make me laugh until I cry...
Got the first seasons on DVD (unfortunately only up to season 3). Eagerly waiting for new seasons on DVD http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

My fave at the mo definately has to be Scrubs. That show is so funny, if you enjoy hyper-sarcasm, it cant be beat.

simpsons is a close second.

I am eagerly awaiting the day that star trek-enterprise gets good.

has anyone seen the bronx bunny show-also very funny

Probably a toss up between South Park, The Man Show, and a bunch of series on the History & History International channels. They're my wife's favorites, also. Good Lord, we're both odd. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif

Currently, 24. Very polished show - nice acting, intricate plotting, breathless mix of action - almost makes you suspend disbelief in the ludicrousness of it.

Best of all time? I got pretty into Babylon 5. A sci-fi show with a very nice story arc that it took 5 years of real life to tell (unlike the near universal 45 minute self-contained stories you get elsewhere).

Combat was good, I still see it on late night the rare time I watch tv.
Batman & Robin with Bruce Ward and Dick Grayson was a favorite too. TV back in the early 60's & 70's consisted of only a few channels so we spent most of our time outside playing. Most shows only came on one day a week, cartoons only in the morning on weekends. When Batman came on in the early evening on a weekday, the entire neighborhood was derserted of anyone under 15.

My all time favorite from back then would have to be the Twilight Zone with Rod Serling. http://www.scifi.com/twilightzone/

I'd probably still enjoy watching it. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Green Wing. Without a doubt, if only for the glorious, truly glorious Alan Statham:

EDIT: Viewer discretion is, er, very highly advised. The language is a lot more colourful than Scrubs.

ShadesWolf and ichi mentioned mine, Stark trek. Particularly DS9. Whilst Th Wire, Mad Men and many other shows all hold a place in my heart because of quality, Star Trek holds a special place simply due to its lovely message and its ease of watching.

I typically don't track TV these days, unless I'm visiting family (don't have one at home), but when I do, I like Mythbusters, Brad Meltzer's decoded (even if it can get weird, a la the Booth case), and anything to do with dinosaurs and the age of reason (well, the wars in it).
