rather than resurrect gallery II, i decided to start a new one.

post whatever pics or animations or smilies or other graphic images here you wish, within .org rules, of course. this is for anyone. if you cant post a remote viewing, then post a link to your image(s). personally, i'd prefer something you made or photographed, but all are welcome. it doesnt matter if they're humorous, gorgeous, babes, cars, pretty colors, or whatever. think of it as the .org art gallery, with no curator, so whatever ya like.

Actually, he may be too late. I read an article two weeks ago that claims the security cameras that they use in Las Vegas casinos can see through clothing of the color red. I was saying that we cannot upload custom avatars, but only use the pool from the org. Maybe yours were added to this pool?

yes, the 3 recent viking ones i did were uploaded to the pool. however, there used to be a provision for making your own and having them used, either singly by yourself, for another, or for adding to the pool. i say used to be because i'm not sure of the current standing of this. i know it's been discussed now and again, but not sure what the current policy is, if there even is one. check the forum rules and see if there's not something there on it. i belive there was also a thread on this in the watchtower forum here on the .org about this.

yep, we call them northern lights, the farther north you go the better they get, but they are basically aurora boreallis..

seen them all my life, and never got a good picture myself. someday, i will.

ok, this was rather amazing. i decided that turn-about was only fair, but i have no recent photos of myself, so i went into the back room and dragged out some old photo albums.

i wasnt sure this was going to work. i have a printer/scanner/copier/fax machine combo, but i really hadnt used the scanner much and wasnt sure quite how this would come out. i was pleasantly surprised after a few trials, and decided to go ahead and fix one up for posting in here.

this was taken more than 30 years ago, sometime in early 1971, so it's a bit old, was a bit faded and dirty and i had to retouch it a bit to get out some scan lines and junk. but, it's essentially exact. this was when i was with the 101st airborne in northern south vietnam, air cavalry.

i'm the guy on the right. i was carrying radio back then and carried a slightly modified M-16 with a scope and banana clip. notice also the smoke grenades, frags, extra clips and so on :)

dunno about p-shop; you'd have to ask soly. psp has them in the 'shapes' or 'objects' tool. can be stretched and fitted as needed.

i've also started working on a personal website. been a while since i did one, so i'm having to learn html all over again. started by using netscape's composer, but d/l'ed a couple html editors last night....just freeware stuff. i used to have a link to a good site with html tutorials and definitions and so on, but that was years ago and dont recall where it is now. if anyone knows of a good site for this, lemme know.
