Here is Germany today's Ascension Day is also referred to as Father's Day, meaning all male adults (including the ones without offspring) go out to get jolly drunk with their friends.
My program today consisted of going to a Whisky tasting with some friends at a nice little pub (so excuse any unusual amount of typos in my posts) where we tasted six different Scotch Whiskys and several pints of Guiness.
Is there a similar tradition in your country on Ascension Day? And, if so, what did you do today?
