View Full Version : Battle of the asskickers

These are the most serious asskickers I could think off. Dante from devil may cry kicks some serious butt, slices and dices his enemies but he does it with style Viewtifull Joe is the king of melee combat and you can tell he really ENJOYS kicking the living shit out of cartooncharacters from hell. Sam is called 'serious' for a reason, he annihilates everything that is foolish enough to look at him the wrong way. And at last the Duke....hail to the king baby.

My favorite is Duke Nuke'em with Sam as a runner-up, a kickass character needs a kickass name and Joe and Dante don't deliver.

Dante, he has style, far more style than the boring platinum series game box may suggest.

Somehow I wonder if Mario should be on the list, those koopa massacres really pile up the bodies and he clearly enjoys his work. He even has the check to pretend to be family friendly as he murders several entire species http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wacko.gif

Dante

Who doesn't love the 'Air hike over their heads, land facing them, triple slash, stinger, stinger, slash varient 2, jump, shoot with pistols, air time them, keep them in the air with duel pistol fire' routine http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

*EDIT* lady Frog, have you beaten Mundus? I can't do it. Stupid gamefaqs only tell me to get 9-10 devil stars (I have about 2 from the fight with Nightmare). I can whip his rear in space, but once I get to the rock with the lava pit, I get stuck. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

I got up to the first boss and then something else required my attention for a few weeks. When I got back to the game I was so rusty I just kept dying, so I need to start over. Um, that was a few months ago; I'm saving the game until my parents go on holiday, leaving the house empty and my gaming interuption free. I only play for half an hour at a time, but they still manage to interrupt me at the worst possible moments, for example battles with giant red spider demons from hell Some games will survive interruptions, but not DMC.

Squall.

He simply would own any of them

He doesn't really enjoy fighting, HE JUST DOESN'T CARE.

He is the only one who is worried aboot dieing and therefore is the most danjerous

Have you seen the robot spider

Or the massive GF

He is the only character with a gunsword too

Dante may have guns and swords BUT HE DOESN'T HAVE A GUNSWORD

Nah, Gordon Freeman is a boring geek that GETS to kick some serious ass. A true asskicker needs attitude Shame on me for forgetting Max Payne, he got a kickass name and he got the attitude, and he kicks ass of course. Come to think of it, Caleb from Blood deserves a mention as well.

Have ot give it to Max Payne. He piles up bodies in Matrix time, and he also has style.

I still remember that dialogue from Max Payne 2:

The things that I want by Max Payne:
A smoke.
A whiskey.
A license to kill and unlimited ammo.
And her.

good list for Santa. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

lol, these are just a few quotes from Max Payne that I like...

Max Payne: He was trying to buy more sand for his hour glass. I wasn't selling any.

Vinnie Gognitti: Police brutality
Max Payne: I rate pretty high on that.

Max Payne: I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings.

Frankie Niagara: Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Frankie the Bat Niagara.
Max Payne: Niagara, as in you cry a lot?

Max Payne: He had a baseball bat and I was tied to a chair. Pissing him off was the smart thing to do

and I like these one alot... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Max Payne: I was a Ninja, my Kung Fu was strong.

B.B.: You can't win this one, Max.
Max Payne: Maybe, but I can make damn sure none of you do either.

Dick Justice(spoof tv show within the game): The rain was comin' down like all the angels in heaven decided to take a piss at the same time. When you're in a situation like mine, you can only think in metaphors.

Max Payne: Your past has a way of sneaking up on you. You'll hear broken echoes of it everywhere, like a bad replay. You'll get mad at everyone for reminding you about it, even if it's all in your head.

Max Payne: The things that I want by Max Payne:
A smoke.
A whisky.
For the sun to shine.
My wife and baby girl back.
Unlimited ammo and a license to kill.
Right then, more than anything,
I wanted her.

Max Payne: I didn't deserve to walk away. There are no happy endings...

@Dramicus.

Gee,m8 thats a good memory http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif Did you remember all that or you looked it up?

Also I came to like that Dearest of all my friends expression.

Or this one:

Vlad: Suppose you have to do something wrong, but you have no other choice. Then it isnt wrong, Its more like fate.

(Im not too sure about accuracy of that last one)

Or:

Gognitty:That was fun.In a scary not-at-all-fun way.
