(supposedly) done without using computer animation, no cuts, just a single, uninterrupted take of camera...

They made it at 606th try during 24 days of recording and after 7 months of planning.

Lots of work apparently, yet the effect's nice.

Camera angles there are ways of distorting the way it looks to the viewer

I have to agree, the wheels rolling up the ramp and picking up speed as they did it was undeniably fake...

This was already done by an german artist who made such a domino of about an hour.

I remember reading about this a while back. Supposedly, the wheels were made to roll uphill with carefully placed weights inside, but the whole thing was done in two parts, with the cut taking place at the muffler.
