Beruit, who is your favourite out of the various keyboard players Deep Purple have had over the years? John Lord was awesome, but I believe Don Airey is now Playing for them, and he is also excellent.

Not enough rock bands have keyboard/organ players in any more. Bring back the Doors

There is only one true Deep Purple keyboardist, and The Lord be his name. What that man does with a B3 Hammond is without equal.

Deep Purple is coming to Montreal in August. If Jon Lord is in the lineup, I'm going. Never seen them before.

I have the DVD of their concert in 1968 with the Royal Philharmonic. Very, very cool.

The piece is very difficult so I suspect your teacher is trying to motivate you with R.d.A; being a carrot, which you may not get in the very near future. Instead prepare yourself for massive tremolo exercises..
