New Zelda Game

Now that shots of the new Zelda Game have emerged at E3, I was wondering what would be a good next to the series.
Then I remembered a conversation I had with some friends when we were walking through Borough Market near wateloo station. (incedently very near too the house used in lock stock and two smoking barrels that the taxi dudes were infront off.) When we had an interesting conversation. The gist of it was they should have Grand Theft Auto Hyrule city. Please don't laugh at this. The general premise was in the final battle the huge magical energies cause the three combatants to be transported in time to a time much like our own. link is knocked unconcious zelda escapes gannondorf kills many people. Link goes to prison, get's hard, for gannons crime. When link gets out he's for lack of a better word pissed of at life in general so goes after gannon taking out anything in his way. Zelda had to become a prostitute to survive and Gannon now is one of the mafia leaders.

Tell me what you think and your own ideas for the new game no matter how zany or wierd.

I m a bit allergic to Zelda games after i tried Majora's Mask. The combination of ultra sadistic quests and the gay (not homosexual , the cheerfull meaning) scenery make the world of Zelda a place where ido not wish to venture again.
My GF is playing wond waker now and its ok to watch but i wont touch the game even if it becomes more rude than fallout tactics

The OoT was the best Zelda game that i've played. The windwaker wasn't that bad but getting round the map was boring at times and no where near as fun as riding round on epona.

The new shots that came out are not shell shaded they are much like the video originally released, the one where Link and Gannondorf are locked in battle. From what I can tell it appears that epona is back as is the field. You can use you sword while on epona and their are wargs, like in LOTR, to kill.

Funny thing is I saw these shots in a games mag and I can't find them on the internet. But i shall indeavor to find a link.

OoT was the best so far. A friend of mine played it through getting 100% completion 27 times and he can still do it. It's imbedded on his mind.

At least with Epona you could shoot arrows without havign to go through a more than clumsy boat interface. :)

Ah, before I was a history fan or even a TW fan I was a loyal Zelda fan. Me nad Zelda go waaaaaaaaaay back. All the way up to the NES games... Anyways it looks good, I might even hafta buy a GC just for this game.

Btw, has anyone ever been to kasuto.net and that sites message board? I've been a regular member there for quite awhile, and it's also the biggest Zelda ste out there. If oyu even remotely like Zelda check out that site. And the message board too.

I loved both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask... but I have Xbox, so will never get to play any of the new ones unless Microsoft happens to take over Nintendo. I don't think it's a good idea, I just love romping around with my fairy pal, dealing out justice.
And how can you not love Epona? She was the best, and I loved shooting that stupid dude that tried to lock me up. I still sometimes bring out the old N64 to play Ocrina, which is such an awesome game.
edit: Aww man, I just saw that trailer, and it locks awesome. I never was a fan of cel shading, and this looks perfect. The Ocarina of time IMO is the best, i don't like majora's mask that much, not the same level of greatness, wind waker is cool as well
