Bohemian Rhapsody - (of course...)
Another one bites the dust
We will rock you
We are the champions
Flash
Seven seas of rhye
Under pressure
I want to break free

My favourite is Bohemian Rhapsody. Unoriginal, but it's a great song, and it always reminds me of the bit in Wayne's World.

Sorry, guys, they played the hell out of Bohemian Rhapsody when it was new and I got pretty tired of it.

Killer Queen is my favorite.

But I'm not a big Queen fan. Not bad, but not my favorite band.

Pretty much the whole of Queen II, but especially White Queen, Black Queen, and Ogre Battle.

I remember when I was a teen I found Hammer to Fall a really hard piece of music. Ahhh, those where the days...
Not an easy choice but I would say Innuendo is the best.

I agree. I'd like to say bohemian Rhapsody, but that spanish guitar bit in Innuendo is superb.

Couldent pick 1 out as im a big fan but stand outs are

Show must go on,
Under pressure,
Hammer to fall,
Im going slightly mad,
We are the champions,
Killer Queen
Days of our lives.

Queen tracks are timeless, many of them you could hear today and not realise they were written and performend in the 70's and 80's

Damn Straight

Queen II is far and away their best album and March of the Black Queen is far and away their best song.

Innuendo is great, its a really old skool type of Queen song harking back to the 70s - lotsa different styles all in the one song. They could have released that and said it was a long lost track from 1973 and I would've believed it.

Flashes Theme is also great. NB, not Theme from Flash Gordon, but Flashes Theme. Its on the soundtrack and it is superb Queen ROCK http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif

Also love the metal version of We Will Rock You on the start of Live Killers http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif

caviar and cigarettes,
well versed in etiquette,
extraordinarily nice...

This was the first Queen number I ever heard and I liked them at once. Went on to get all their stuff (vinyl and cassettes back then) but Killer Queen has remained my favorite.

Indeed it is, Gawain.

I googled for the whole song. Here it is:

She keeps moet et chandon
In her pretty cabinet
’let them eat cake’ she says
Just like marie antoinette
A built-in remedy
For kruschev and kennedy
At anytime an invitation
You can’t decline

Caviar and cigarettes
Well versed in etiquette
Extraordinarily nice

Chorus
She’s a killer queen
Gunpowder, gelatine
Dynamite with a laser beam
Guaranteed to blow your mind
Anytime

Recommended at the price
Insatiable an appetite
Wanna try?

To avoid complications
She never kept the same address
In conversation
She spoke just like a baroness
Met a man from china
Went down to geisha minah
Then again incidentally
If you’re that way inclined

Perfume came naturally from paris
For cars she couldn’t care less
Fastidious and precise

Chorus

Drop of a hat she’s as willing as
Playful as a pussy cat
Then momentarily out of action
Temporarily out of gas
To absolutely drive you wild, wild..
She’s all out to get you

Chorus

Recommended at the price
Insatiable an appetite
Wanna try?
You wanna try...
